May 6, 201016 yr No, My buddy just got one and I could not tell the difference between his and my Trackir4 pro with headset. Just make sure you have the newer software (Trackir 5) installed.

May 16, 201016 yr I can hardly tell the difference from the naked eye. The Trackir 5's position control is greatly enhanced over its predicessor through the use of a magnet mount and cord cradle. This makes setting up the device a snap for when I travel with the notebook. Ryan Kelly
