May 7, 201016 yr I noticed when I save a flight with an non-default aircraft, I can't directly reload it. I have to choose that aircraft and then I can reload the flight. Otherwise I get an error, or sometimes a weird error happens: the loading bar stays open, and the main FS window hides - I can only restore it when it's loaded, by doing alt+enter for full screen. That of course only happens if I try to load when previously FSX was in windowed mode...Anyway, loading of flights is not as seamless as it was in FS9, it seems.Anyone experiencing similar problems?

However I always load the LDS767 when I open FSX. I fly from the last place that I land. However you can change the plane without the error from the FSX start screen, where you change time, airport etc. That screen you access from the free flight menu, from there you can make any change you want. Where are making the change from one plane to the other?Bob
May 8, 201016 yr Mostly before the flight. And when I have to load a flight, then a workaround is to load THAT aircraft before loading the flight.
May 8, 201016 yr Don't quite follow you when you say before the flight. Are you changing things via the FS CFG? Are you using some other method to make the changes outside of FS?Bob
May 8, 201016 yr I've been having odd problems with FSX lately, usually it pertains to loading a flight or loading the game in general. And track IR is playing a a role too. Sometimes TIR works in Windows, but not once I get in game. Sometimes FSX won't even fully load and it just freezes. I get this at least once a week, maybe more frequently. My default flight (show opening screen = 0) is The Carenado Arrow VC on a runway. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I have to change to THAT aircraft that is in the loaded flight, if it's not a DEFAULT MS aircraft.I've been having odd problems with FSX lately, usually it pertains to loading a flight or loading the game in general. Times maybe have changed, but I keep that policy up to today... And never had any problem with any addon aircraft. Except that one, that the main window closes when I don't load the aircraft in the FS menu first. Sometimes I even get FSX crashes if I don't load the aircraft first.
