Changing computers

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this has been asked before, did some searching but couldn't find anything.I have a copy of FSX that was installed and activated online on another computer which no longer exists. I did uninstall it from that computer.I'm having another one built and was wondering if I'm going to have any trouble getting it activated again on a different PC?

No problem at all as long as you don't install FSX more then x times (I don't remember the exact value of x though).BTW, do you know that we have a forum for French speaking folks?Same food, same wine! :--)

I did run into an activation problem a while ago, after having reinstalled FSX once too many. What happened was, instead of simply activating online, the activation software told me to call a phone number. After "talking" to a voice response system and confirming that I understood the EULA, I was given an activation code. So not much of a problem.
