May 9, 201016 yr HiI recently started testing with the FFTF=0. Then suddenly i started noticing the blurred grass. However when I removed the FFTF=0 line i still had blurry grass.I removed the fsx.cfg and let it rebuilt the cfg.. STILL blurry grass. I reinstalled GEX to no avail. From 1ft above the ground, very close by, the textures ARE sharp. All other textures are sharp.I have anisotropic filtering ON, driver settings to max quality...!Any ideas? Thanks,Walter John doe

May 9, 201016 yr If this is FS9, set your LOD Quality to 8 in FS menu and set ANISO to 16. Should work OK.

May 9, 201016 yr It's FSX sp2Windows 7 64bitI already tried setting ANISO to 8x but it didn't change a thingSorry. Looked totally like FS9.Though, it doesn't look like AF is working. Also looks like there is no AA. This could be a cause of that. How are you turning it on and how are you checking it's REALLY working? Aircraft has huge edges, meaning, its not working. At all.
May 9, 201016 yr Commercial Member From the shots, it looks as though the detail map (and ground textures) are dropping to lower mip levels than you'd expect at that altitude. Have you tried the mipbias=X setting in your fsx.cfg? I described the fix years ago on my blog, and it's one of the most popular pages: http://iblueyonder.wordpress.com/2007/05/3...r-the-blurries/ Bill Womack ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Visit my FS Blog or follow me on Twitter (username: bwomack). And they work fine.. at least they did last time I checked:From the shots, it looks as though the detail map (and ground textures) are dropping to lower mip levels than you'd expect at that altitude.
