Thanks for the suggestion but I already had it and I removed it and ran FSX and still had the same issue. I hope that is what you meant? If not can you explain a little more.Thanks,

There was a tweak I tried about a month ago which did this exact thing to me. The only way I could get the textures back was to reinstall FSX from scratch. I cannot find the tweak posting nor can I remember exactly what it was. It was something to do with modifying shaders HLSL I think, and to delete the shader cache or something similar. I think I was trying to get rid of the black squares on lights but this "tweak" caused a reinstall. A repair wouldn't do it.Here's hoping you find a different solution to your problem.Dolph
