May 13, 201016 yr Hi GuysSince the release of FSX, I seem to have aquired an outragious number of addon aircraft, including a lot of complex payware, most of which I still fly! As a result when I try to select another aircraft or variant, it seems to take forever to load the menu.My question is... Will that be mostly down to hard drive access times? If it is, then I may have to look at an SSD. I've tried a lot of stuff to improve things, including only having my less commonly used models in another folder. I really didn't like doing that though - I was always forgetting to move them back, and then having to reload FSX.Any thoughts please? Thanks Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

May 13, 201016 yr Commercial Member I usually remove most of the liveries, leaving only several per aircraft. It helps. Michael A2A Simulations
