Odd Stuttering

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,This has never happened to me before, but I'm experiencing an odd phenomenon. I will start up a flight, then 5-10 minutes in, my audio starts "popping" once every few seconds, and with that popping, the sim "stutters." I will go from 25 FPS down to 6-7 FPS, then back up to 25. I am simultaneously experiencing audio "popping" along with "stutters" once every few seconds. The only way to bring it back to normal is to ALT+TAB out of the sim, then ALT+TAB back in, however the stuttering starts up again after a while. What could be causing such an annoyance? Thanks.

Regards,

BoeingGuy

Check to see if some other program isn't 'phoning home' for updates and such. You might have task manager running and see what's using cycles when it happens.Vic
