I'm having this problem when every I use the WIN key to exit to desktop while running FSX using WIN XP 32 SP3, I'll normally have to hit the WIN key several times in order for Fsx to reappear. I can hear the sound but I don't get the picture? If you are in fullscreen mode, its better to use alt-enter to switch to another window or app when using FSX. FSX fullscreen doesn't play nicely with alt tab or the win key, and if you do that you could try hitting the FSX icon on the taskbar a couple of times repeatedly to get back to the session. I believe its a driver issue as well, but it seems the best way to avoid being locked out of FSX is just using alt enter to go to windowed mode first before task switching at all times.
