  1. Hey guys I'm a lost soul when it comes to setting up a network. Like rufowler I have a desktop and laptop and would like to run my FSC,AIVLASOFT EFB, PFPX on the laptop and desktop I have FSX, ASN. I have installed FSUIPC to main FSX pc & WIDEFS7 to laptop. my problem is I don't know how to properly setup my network to get everything working. Can someone provide a tutorial or walk me thru the setup? Thanks Don
  2. Oops! your right! I totally forgot about that. Thanks
  3. I haven't used flightaware in awhile untill today and I went on the site to get charts of Vancouver (CYVR) but when I clicked on the MAps & Diagram tab it just showes a areria view of the airport? Don
  4. I just purchased Opus and need some advice on settings to use with FSX and how to insert cloud texture from Flight Envirnoment Extreme ( FEX 2.0)? Thanks Don
  5. Fernandobs If you wait till May-June time frame the new Intel chip HASWELL will be out. Also there is a new Geforce card out called the Titan, they are a bit pricey thou. But what you have is a great setup, not sure how that i7 3970 will preform over a i7 3770k you could save $$ and go with that chip. I been their when I put my FSX rig together back in the summer 2011 I went with a i7 980x instead of the i7 2600k / i7 2700k. If I had to do it all over I would've went with the i7 2600k because the higher OC you can get from it over the i7 980x. Just my 2 cents.
  6. Mike777 I agree with you totally with this version of the 777. I purchased version .100 with the understanding that this is not the complete AC and eventually purchased the full version later. The site kinda misleads you into thinking that version 1.0 is the complete package but far from it. I can't understand what the reason for releasing in manner they did and not have a complete and solid working 777. To make matters worse I submitted a trouble ticket to get help for the Hydraulic situation and they canceled my request??? Now I have serveral of CS products in my hanger, 727, 767 c-130 I really didn't spend alot of time with them for the most part because issues that I didn't bother contacting CS about so I just removed them. It's a shame that the only good 777 that was made was by PSS 10+ YEARS ago and no one has come out with anthing close IMO. PMDG I'm waiting on you.
  7. Okay my reasoning for asking for a start up tutorial was the fact that I had no hyd pwr to any of my control surfaces with the Hyd pwr applied and I wanted to use the tutorial to see what procedure I was missing. As I looked thur both pdf and did not see anything that would have told me to look for the hyd pnl located in the back of the cockpit behind the Capt seat?? not to mention it is hard to access the switches. Also I was not aware that you need to load a default plane the load the CS 777? I just load mine up from the start and my only issue was that I was not having Hyd pwr. I also noticed that the ext lights are not bright at all, I'll take another look to see if there is a brightness knob.
  8. Where did that come from!! Thanks it's working Don
  9. Well I just sent a trouble ticket to C/S. I'm really just having problems with having no hydraulic pwr to any of my control surface. i.e. flaps, rudders etc. None of them are responding?? Don
  10. For anyone out their who has actuall flown the CS 777 1.0 would it possible to provide me a simple tutorial on the proper engine start? I know the plane is defaulted with the engines already running, but I have not been able to get my Hyd working even after turning them on. Non of my flaps, rudders or anything works. Now I could be missing something that is why I'm asking for the tutorial. Thanks Don
  11. Okay I'm trying to install SP1 into AS2012, I currently have Build 4363. I'm using WIN 7 64 Pro. When I go to install it loads to my E: Drive but it dosen't change the build # on the AS2012 Home pg? Now I did have AS2012 on my SSD Drv (C:) so I deleted that copy thinking that may be the cause, but it had no change. For clarification I orginally installed AS2012 on my E:Drv, then at some point in time I moved it to my SSD Drv. Now I just have it on my E: Drv. I hope that helps. Don
  12. vonmar I following the same procedure your doing. My payware acft, PMGD, LVLD have their files saved in the .rte format. Just can't get any flt plns to import. Here is a thought, what version of FSC are you using?
  13. It gets saved their from FSC. See my pic's showing you the paths for my flt plns. Don
  14. Your saying it works only for FSX built flt pls? If so, why are the flt plns I used & created in FSC and used in ES Citation X can be imported into AS2012? Don
  15. Okay, I checked all my flt plns and the only ones that look like yours are the one's I created in FSX's own flt planner. The four flt plns that I posted I was making them for the PMDG, The other flt plns the have the (X) in there string are for the ES Citation X. Don
