Having problems trying to import fsc 9.2 flt plns into AS2012? I hit the ( Enter Plan tab) and select the flt pln with a .pln ext but nothing happens? Not sure what I'm missing.

Can you enter the same plan into FSX?

I just tried to and I could'nt ? Here is a pic of my saved flt pln's. The ones that I can't load are the (KLAXLFPG, KLAXPHNL, KSFOKDFW, PHNLKLAS). The other files I can load into FSX.

The flight plans that can be loaded into FSX ... can they be loaded into Active Sky?

Do a new plan KJFKKLAX using FSC.

KSFOKDFW is new! and the other three plns are rescent one's and they will not import into AS2012. I also tried the KJFKKLAX and it did not import as well?

Copy your KJFKKLAX plan.

Paste it here for me to see.

That is not KJFKKLAX plan.

 

Go to FSC and do a plan with just this:

KJFK KLAX

and save it as KJFKKLAX-test (example name here).

 

Then open the plan in notepad.

Copy it.

Then paste it here.

 

You could also try loading the simple plan into AS2012.

following your steps from your last post, when I just use KJFKKLAX and safe it, there is no waypoints in between the two airports? Plus what will saving the info into notepad do or show when it's just the Dep & Dest AP?

 

Also, if I just use AS2012 and input the Dep and Dest AP It's just going to show the Dep & Dest AP only??

I do not want you or AS2012 creating any waypoints. Just import the plan from FSX folder.

Okay, when I created the KJFKKLAX FLT PLN in FSC 9.2 and save it, with just the Dep & Dest AP it still does not import into AS2012.

 

Here is the attached flt pln:

I need you to go to your FSX folder (Documents\Flight Simulator X Files) and load the flight plan into Notepad.

Copy the flightplan.

Paste it here for me to look at.

Also, this sequence:

AS 2012 main screen

 

Click on Flight Plan button

Click on Enter Plan

Click on Import

Find and click on your Flightplan name (from the FSX folder).

Open

Process

Click on Cancle on the last screen

Your 2 waypoint flightplan should be displayed
