May 26, 201214 yr Author Vonmar The site will not allow me to attach the flt pln in the note pad fomat. I tried to change the extension on it, but it still would not allow me to attach to the site. In post #13 I've copied the flt pln as it appears in note pad. I've followed the steps above and that is how I've been importing the flt plns orginally, but they will not load this four flt plns (KLAXLFPG, KLAXPHNL, KSFOKDFW, PHNLKLAS) or any current pln I create in FSC 9.2. I'm at a total lost right know???????? Don
May 26, 201214 yr Get your flight plan in Notepad Ctrl A (or Edit Select all ) Put your mouse cursor in this forums reply window (where you type). Press Ctrl V Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 26, 201214 yr Author Vonmar I've done that already... see post #13. Here it is again: [FSCFP] DepartAPCode=KJFK DepartNum=0 DepartID=04L DepartType=Rwy DestAPCode=KLAX RouteType=0 SID= STAR= Transition=
May 26, 201214 yr I do not want to see that one. It is not the one you Import into AS2012. FSC sends the flight plan to your FSX folder with the name you saved it as. to here, in your Documments ... Documents\Flight Simulator X Files. That is the file I want you to Open in Notepad, copy and the paste here. On my PC the flightPlans are here: C:\Users\vaughan\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 26, 201214 yr My FSC flight plans are here: F:\FSC9\Flightplan\FSC You do not import these into AS2012 ... these are for FSC only! Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 26, 201214 yr Author Here is a screen shot showing the directory path to where I'm pulling this flt pln from:
May 26, 201214 yr This is what my FSC plan looks like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SimBase.Document Type="AceXML" version="1,0"> <Descr>AceXML Document</Descr> <FlightPlan.FlightPlan> <Title>KJFK to KLAX</Title> <FPType>IFR</FPType> <CruisingAlt>16000</CruisingAlt> <DepartureID>KJFK</DepartureID> <DepartureLLA>N40° 38' 17.00",W73° 47' 39.00",+000010.00</DepartureLLA> <DestinationID>KLAX</DestinationID> <DestinationLLA>N33° 56' 33.00",W118° 24' 29.00",+000125.00</DestinationLLA> <Descr>KJFK, KLAX</Descr> <DeparturePosition>13R</DeparturePosition> <DepartureName>John F. My filesize is 2Kb [FSCFP] DepartAPCode=KJFK DepartNum=0 DepartID=13R DepartType=Rwy DestAPCode=KLAX RouteType=0 SID= STAR= Transition= from here: F:\FSC9\Flightplan\FSC Your FSC export to FSX is wrong and that is why AS2012 cannot import it. do all flight plans in your the FSX folder start like this in Notepad ... the ones that work ok in AS2012? [FSCFP] Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 26, 201214 yr Author Okay, I checked all my flt plns and the only ones that look like yours are the one's I created in FSX's own flt planner. The four flt plns that I posted I was making them for the PMDG, The other flt plns the have the (X) in there string are for the ES Citation X. Don
May 26, 201214 yr Do you understand what your problem is now? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 26, 201214 yr Author Your saying it works only for FSX built flt pls? If so, why are the flt plns I used & created in FSC and used in ES Citation X can be imported into AS2012? Don
May 26, 201214 yr How did this file get into the FSX folder? [FSCFP] DepartAPCode=KJFK DepartNum=0 DepartID=04L DepartType=Rwy DestAPCode=KLAX RouteType=0 SID= STAR= Transition= Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 26, 201214 yr Author It gets saved their from FSC. See my pic's showing you the paths for my flt plns. Don
May 26, 201214 yr For example: My saved FSC plans for FSX go to FSX folder (Documents\Flight Simulator X Files). Each payware aircraft goes to a folder in the correct format for that aircraft ... For PMDG, they go here as a rte file: I always export the flight plan from FSC to FSX and other multiple payware aircraft. I import the plan from the FSX folder (Documents\Flight Simulator X Files) for AS2012 . Here the rte file is for PMDG's FMC only. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 26, 201214 yr Author vonmar I following the same procedure your doing. My payware acft, PMGD, LVLD have their files saved in the .rte format. Just can't get any flt plns to import. Here is a thought, what version of FSC are you using?
May 26, 201214 yr When you create a plan for any flight (any type aircraft) one copy must be sent to FSX (you have to select the FSX checkbox in FSC when you "Save As" and name the flt pln). The other checkbox will be for like PMDG or other aircraft. The file contents for your plan in the FSX folder is wrong and it will not load into FSX or AS2012. I used FSC version 9.1.1 prior ... I had not updated yet. Today I updated to ver 9.2 to check you situation. I get the same good results with ver 9.2. See screenshot. ****** Note: How did this file get into your FSX flight plan folder? It should be in the FSC folder for FSC use only. Did you manually copy the file to the FSX folder? [FSCFP] DepartAPCode=KJFK DepartNum=0 DepartID=04L DepartType=Rwy DestAPCode=KLAX RouteType=0 SID= STAR= Transition= ***** Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
