FSX Landclass Design

Featured Replies

Aloha from PHOG,I have been designing FS9 landclass for some time and now am trying to get the tools together for FSX. The only tool I am missing is something like the Cell Grid by Richard Ludowise. His program was very useful for accurate landclass design. It makes it possible to see exactly where the landclass texture will be placed.Does anyone know of a cell grid like program for FSX. I live on Maui and am ready to improve the landclass so that it will be much closer to what I see out here. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Chip1

I haven't tried it myself, but Cell Grid should work just fine in FS X, since mostly all vector terrain elements from FS 9 are compatible with FS X. Why don't you give it a try and see?Best regards.Luis

Thanks for the kind reply. I did try once and had some problems due to the new Windows 7 64 bit system and new computer. Sad to say FSX is also entirely new to me. Lots of learning to do. I will give it another try and see if I can add the grid scenery to FSX. I have set up all of the other tools necessary for FSX scenery design and they now are working. But I love the cell grid method for alignment of landclass cells and will get it to work one way or another.Aloha Nui Loa,Chip1
