I have a question..... I went into AFCAD and at IHA i made 15L/15R departing only. 26R/26L/27 landing only. I run makerwys after the change. When I got my ATIS info it gave me the right departing runway of 15L. But when I came back it gave me arrival 15R. There was no AI around because i flew in the Vatsim network. Does RC see these runways as departing and arriving or is there something else I can do to make it more realistic?

RC picks runways based on what the ai are doing. if the ai are not doing things right, rc will follow right along. in v4.3 i'm not paying attention to the open and closed runways, takeoff and landing. i follow the ai, if they aren't doing anything, i follow the wind, equipment, length.do you mean it gave you departing runway 15R? instead of arrival 15Rmaybe the ai weren't doing anything so early in the flight while you were getting the weather, so i guess right (i mean left), and then when you called ground, the ai were taxiing to 15R, and so i gave you 15R. hard to say without a log.if you can duplicate the problem, make a log, details pinned to the top of the forum, and send me the log. i can tell you why rc made the decisions it made.jd
