June 11, 201015 yr I have been looking at the MAAM DC-3 for a while. I was tempted by the new Uiver DC-2 for FSX, but decided to go with the DC-3. So, last night, I bought it, the download version, from the MAAM store, Order #8645. It wasn't until this morning that I got an email notice of the purchase. That's okay, it was late when I bought it. But it's after 3:00 pm my time now and I still haven't received any information about how to actually download it. I sent an email to support this morning asking for that information. Nothing. I don't want to be impatient, but I've never had to wait as much as an hour to download any product I've bought before. I've looked all over the MAAM store to see if I can find the info on how to download it myself, but I can't find anything. Would someone please tell me how to get what I've paid for?
June 11, 201015 yr Commercial Member Hi Phil. The problem lies with your g-mail. That ISP and some others block our automated e-mails as spam. That is mentioned in the details of the product on our store. I do see the e-mail from you and apologize for not catching it sooner. Been busy with a crisis involving my above-ground pool that was failing and threatening to dump 12,000 gallons of water into my neighbor's basement! Anyway, I have sent your link using my own ISP to fool g-mail. Let me know if you got it.Cheers, Bill Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
June 11, 201015 yr Author Thanks, BillI noticed that message about gmail, but since I got your notice of the order, I didn't think there was a problem. Plus, I don't think gmail has ever designated anything as spam since I've had it. A good spam filter, it isn't. However, I checked the junk folder when I read this message, and sure enough, both the original and your followup message were there. Weird how gmail thinks this is spam and nothing else. Anyway, thanks for the response. Downloading the model now and looking very forward to flying it. Thanks.Phil Hi Phil. The problem lies with your g-mail.
