June 13, 201015 yr First off, WOW What an amazing freeware software, Thank you SOO Much :D! And i everyone :) , first post. Just found TP 3 days ago actually lol. I got it installed and it works fine except for the part where it makes the ground look like...umm... there's a lot of ants moving around lol. I installed it on a laptop i have and it does not do that on their. Both computers have Win 7. Laptop has 32bit and desktop has 64bit( having problem on desktop). I used the "Ed" proxyuser.ini for both computers and changed the cache file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\cache.service3 for the desktop. Thats the only thing i changed. I have tried setting everything down to min in my fsx graphics setting, putting them on max, reinstalled TP, tried different services but still no luck. Hope someone can help me.Here are some pics so you guys can see what i am talking about. Specs are: AMD Athlon 7850 Dual Core ( OC to 2.94GHz)3 GB RAMGTX 260 & 8800GS ( Use for Softth, But not setup atm)No Anti virus installed atm (Just reinstalled, trying to get it to work first then will add that stuff)tileproxy driver thing is digital signaturedUAC is OffThx in advance guysHumza
June 13, 201015 yr It is difficult to judge, but at a first glance, I would say that TP seems working, maybe your pc is a little bit slow.A few comments:Picture#1 (airport): if you are referring to the fact the runaways and taxiways drawn by FSX (solid, with textures) and the underlying airport bitmaps are different, that's 100% normal. Not everytime the airport structures are aligned with satellite imagery. Sometimes they are, sometimes not. That's the fault of FSX, not TP.Picture#2: I don't understand where is the problem.Picture#3: It is blurred. Again, this sometimes happens with TP and there are zillions of reasons. It may depends on the speed of your pc, the configuration of TP, the quality of the images coming from the service provider and so on. Keep in mind that even with the best imagery and configuration, below 2000 feet AGL the landscape will be a bit blurred. To cross-check whether you are seeing the best you can see, or there is something to change, please do the following:1) Fly at 2500 AGL2) Pause FSX3) On the FSX menu bar, go in the add-on module sections (last on the right), select TileProxy, select 'Refresh Scenery'Finally, take a picture of what you see. That should give a better idea of the situation.Paolo

Picture 1# i was referring to the quality of the airport, not the alignment thing not worried about that atm lol. I know its not suppose to look like that because i am testing it on the laptop and its Perfect on the laptop for some dumb reason lol. Used the same proxyuser.ini file as the desktop and thas what i get on my desktop :(. Picture 2# there is nothing right about the picture Lol. The quality is soo horrible. i have also tried it on the laptop and looks Nothing like that lol. Picture 3# Yeah i have seen blurry when i am on the laptop, looks like the same blurry one would get in FSX with default scenery BUT that picture is nothing like that type of blurry.I am away from my desktop atm so will put the picture up tomorrow along with pic from the laptop so ppl can compare. Not sure if this matters but the laptop has SP1 only while the desktop has SP1 and SP2 installed.here is a link to how FSX looks on my Desktop before i knew about TP. To kind of give u an idea of my PC strength cause i am pretty sure its not that. once again thx for the help Anubis :(Humza
June 13, 201015 yr It really looks that when using TP your graphics card is being overloaded and therefore starts to show issues like this. Some people using the Bufferpools=0 tweak also experienced that king of image.I am using the BP tweak too and when I have to many programs in the background and when using TP I sometimes get that too. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
June 13, 201015 yr I've not read this thread through properly, but the pictures suggest a possible mipmap setting issue too.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
June 13, 201015 yr Author @GSalden I dont think its my video card being overstressed because it plays all my other games just fine and i know its strong enough because the laptop has a built-in Intel 945 Express chipset. And i am pretty sure that chipset/gpu can not be faster than my Nvidia GTX 260. Also i am using no tweeks to my FSX.cfg file. I just did a fresh install and nothing else is running in the background because i just did a fresh install, installed all the drivers and a couple updates and then installed FSX and TP. So its not that my cpu is being overloaded. Doubt is my internet because i surf the net i did a speed test and getting the speed that i should be, have high speed cable internet from Comcast.@IAN Umm i am sorry but i dont know what you mean by mipmap, new to TP :( Thanks again for your guys help, i really appreciate it :( here are the pictures from the Laptop...look how much nicer thy look...its not my desktops hardware thats making it look bad i know that for a fact.Pic's from Laptop. Click thumbnail to enlarge the image This is really nice and its on a crappy laptop.Uploaded with ImageShack.usThe runway/ fence looks fine on the laptop but not on the PC. Uploaded with ImageShack.usSame Altitude as the pic from my desktop and in this one (laptop) the runway looks fine and the blurry looks the way its Suppose to. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
June 14, 201015 yr Author Hey guys i figured it out lol. re-installed TP and got the same results. So i changed from service 3 to service 1 and it works fine now lol. Thank for all your guys help :(
June 14, 201015 yr Yep. If you had not noted it, as a rule of thumb, use service 1 for Europe, service 3 for North America and for other parts of the world, it's largely a case of trial and error.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
