Wingflex POSKY 757 without winglets

Featured Replies

What if we use the 757 Winglet model's winglex coding in gmax etc to get the wingflex on the non-winglet model to get going. Since the wings are the same (are they?) except the winglet model obviously has winglets so the coding should work and won't need too be toggled in gmax too much i'm assuming. We need winglex! Would this work???Cheers

Wing flex animation has to be designed into the Gmax model (by the original designer/modeler). If a existing model does not have wing flex, only the original modeler can make the necessary modifications to his/her work. It is their property, whether freeware or payware, and thus it is not correct under any circumstance or condition to undertake any method of modification. The only exception would be by the direct written consent of the original modeler, who would then need to be kind enough to supply the original Gmax model file to someone with the talent and willingness to undertake such a project. In this case that is not going to happen. I am pretty sure that if you would go to the Project Opensky forum and make the same request or suggestion, that (a): you would get no response at all (:(: be told the same as you have read here and in you other post, but in a less wordy and more to the point manner. Then again . . . . , there is nothing that says you can't try. To be frank, someone already explained that you are beating a dead horse and that is 100% correct. Please don't be offended by my bluntness or think that I am criticizing you (it isn't my place to do that). Finally, I'm sorry if this is not what you were hoping for but that is the way it is.Best regards,Mel
