Default 737 merge problem

Featured Replies

I've recently merged the POSKY 737 in Garuda Indonesia colors (repainted by Dirk Kiefer) with the default 737 VC. I have copied all texture files, included the 737_800_interior.mdl file, included the updated model file for FSX, and included a soundset by Patrick Cramer. But upon installing, it wouldn't appear on the Select Aircraft menu. Previously, I merged a POSKY 747-400 in JAL colors with the default 744 VC and even with the custom sounds it works and appears on the aircraft selection screen. Is this because that the VC merges behave differently? Is it because they just don't work with any other sounds other than the boring and unrealistic sounds?

Check your aircraft.cfg file and make sure the fltsim.# is unique. Make sure the name of the aircraft is unique as well. Sounds like a generic name and muber are preventing it from being seen. I like to throw the N number in the title to ensure that the name is unique.

The entries are unique!! They just won't pop out on the aircraft selection screen.
