5 or 6 runways at Schiphol?

Featured Replies

Does Schiphol have 5 or 6 runways? I was at my cousins today flying with his copy of FS2004 at Schiphol and I only counted 5 runways. I thought Schiphol had 6 runways? Did Microsoft foget the 6th runway at EHAM in FS2004? Or was I just missing something?

However, a small one (do not recall the name at this moment) is not always counted because it is not used for the larger aircrafts. So when the new one was built earlier this year, they called that one the 5th runway, Polderbaan. But this one is actually the 6th. In FS2004, the new runway Polderbaan is not included. So hopefully Lago and supporters of the NL-2000 scenery will do their best again!

Thats correct, The new runway is missing. The runway designations were changed too so they are now also wrong. 19R/01L became 18C/36C and 19L/01R is now 18L/36R and the new runway is 18R/36L. Shame they didn't get it right but it all happened only a few months ago so I guess it's understandable.RegardsTimEHAMTim

Thanks guys. I remember downloading the new runway for FS2002, so when I didn't see it in FS2004 I got a bit confused cause I thought so sure MS would put it in FS9. I guess we will have to download the new runway for EHAM again.
