Can't access Avsim forums

It's been happening since friday. I can't access this forums unless I use a proxy. No other site is wrong, but forums1.avsim.net is not accesible from Spain, at least for me. Ping doesn't work either, I get this "host not found" message all the time. Tried IE8, Firefox and Chrome to no avail.I'm not sure if it's a problem in my end or what but thought I'd post just in case there's something else going onThanks
