Holding patterns for AI?

Featured Replies

I was watching AI traffic today at Orlando (KMCO), and I was tracking a USAIR 757 coming in on approach. When the plane reached Stanford it did a full 360 before picking up the approach and landing on runway 17L. Note I was not running AISmooth at the time. This is the first time I've seen this happen in either FSX or FS2004, without AISmooth running. I use WOAI for my traffic.

Thanks

Tom

That's interesting, was it over a holding point and did it do a proper hold racetrack, or just fly in a circle?Al

I checked the AFCAD and there were no special approaches, it just flew in a circle over the Sanford (I incorrectly said Stanford in my O/P) Airport (KSFB). which is North of Orlando.

Thanks
