Hello, I am a new member to avsim and I am currently planning on upgrading my system. I usually only fly the Level-d 767 and I usually have no problem with framerates as long as I stay away from NYC and as long as I dont use any traffic whatsoever. It gets pretty lonely being the only plane in an airport and in the skies but a huge drop in fps has limited me to not using any traffic. I use the triplehead2go and my resolution is 3480 x 1024. I also have Win 7 64 bit version. Below are my specs on my current computer. Please let me know what you guys think I should upgrade. Thanks a bunch. Omar, my $0.02 is the your current system will not gain much by changing any one or two things. A fast system is just that, "a system" where all the parts work together and are dependent on each other. Save your money until you can upgrade the entire system. The latest, fastest system is not necessary to enjoy FSX. But it is necessary if you want peak perfromance.

Cheers, Scott Ball

For that system you may have to reduce resolution a notch? You should definitely go for an overclock, that processor should go to 4 GHz easily. Don
