July 6, 201015 yr I just acquired scenery which cover a large area. The problem is that it comes with an airport that needs taxiway signs. I would rather avoid placing all the signs manually and would like to use the default airport which has the taxiway signs already in place. The problem is that the default airport is layered under the other scenery. Is it possible to essentially cut out a portion of a high priority scenery (lower number) in FS9 with the purpose of a lower priority (higher number) scenery showing through... ie an airport in the lower priority scenery showing through. Is this possible? Thanks in advance,Tony in Miami

Do you know which bgl file the addon airport is located in? If so it should be possible to get the taxi signs into the addon airport. Is this something that you downloaded? If so let us know which scenery it is so that we can take a look. Or is it payware? Jon ------- Microsoft Flight Sim MVP Airport Design Editor FSDeveloper.com
July 7, 201015 yr Jon, it's FeelThere Florida Landings. The airport in question is KTMB in South Florida. The default FS9 airport has the signs already in place and I didn't want to get into hand placing all the taxiway signs by hand on the FeelThere scenery. Thanks,Tony
July 8, 201015 yr Hello Tony,If you don't want to make things too complicated, then why not simply remove the KTMB AFCAD file from the scenery folder? This will allow the default airport facilities to display, including the signs.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
July 8, 201015 yr Hey guys thanks for your assistance.Luis, removing just the BGL didn't work in this case. What I ending up doing was using ADE and with the default airport loaded, I compiled a new BGL and it worked.thanks again,Tony
