July 10, 201015 yr Anyone figured out how to open the cargo doors on C141.zip, the Alpha C-141?Originally this was an FS2000 contribution upgraded for FS2004.The instructions for the cargo doors in the readme file state the following:"Cargo Hold doors - these use the Concorde visor keypress so that they can be opened in flight seperately from the other doors. This keypress is not normally assigned in the FS2002 default setup. To assign it you need to go to the Controller Assignments section under 'Settings'. The model Zipfile inlcudes a useful EXAMPLE SCREENSHOT which shows the screen you need. We recommend assigning the C and V keys for open and close respectively, although there are others you can use if you prefer."Of course, there is no "Concorde visor keypress" as the Concorde, nor that option was included in FS2004 (Although the PSS Concorde imports just fine). The readme also states the following:"NOTE : you can also open the doors by using the switches on the panel."I fail to locate the switches in question. I do not believe they are on the panel.Any ideas? Thanks:RTH

July 10, 201015 yr Thanks David:Glad to know that I am not blind as a bat.RTHNot necessarily....... it may mean we are both that blind..... :(
July 10, 201015 yr I'm not sure what was included in the freeware release of this aircraft so the following may not apply.....This is a portion of the 2D panel from the previous payware version; the exit buttons are located to the lower center of the 2D panel. The Concord "C" and "V" keyboard commands work just fine on my computer for this aircraft; check your keyboard command settings in FS9 to make sure the "C" and "V" keyboard commands are mapped correctly. Regards,Tommy
July 10, 201015 yr I finally did get the Cargo Doors to open - had to restart the sim in order for the Concorde assignments to "take".The freeware release does not include those cockpit switches however - see screenshot.
July 10, 201015 yr Check out the recent reply by StringBean on the exact same subject over at the Flightsim forums.http://forums.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthrea...481179#poststopHe has figured out a simple edit to the panel.cfg file to make the Cargo door switches visible and work properly.
July 11, 201015 yr Author I stand corrected.I contacted Peter by email. I did not realize it, but the Concord commands ARE included in the FS2004 menu, even though the bird is not.Made those assignments, and the doors work fine.Sorry for the blindness.RTH
