Hi guys,How you all doing? Wasn't sure where to post this, so put it here because I was involving the PMDG MD-11.I was going through my PMDG MD-11 sounds the other day and was listeing to some of the engine sounds. I came across one of the files that is the sound of the take-off power. Can't remember exactly, but i'm sure a few people have named it the "grind" sound I think... :( What I was wondering if it was possible to turn up the volume of a specific sound file (eg, the "grind") I've got the engine volume up to max in the FS itself but it doesn't really help here the engine sounds that nice unless I lower the other volumes to almost zero. Is that possible and am I making sense for a start? :( Thanks guys,Hope you've all had a great weekend.Stephen

Anyone think I would be better posting it somewhere else? ... Maybe not the right forum?Stephen

Stephen, you can download free audio software that will allow you to adjust wav files, that includes volume, bass, treble etc. You can also use the built in windows sound recorder for most wav files. Just right click and select 'open with' then choose sound recorder.Regards

Stephen, what's a "grind" sound? And what is it again you would like to achieve? If you have the MD-11 with the default sound slider settings, then the engine volume is exactly as in the real aircraft compared to all other sounds. If you crank up the FS9/X engine sound slider to the maximum, the engines will already be considerably louder than the original... and you want even more?Cheers,Markus
