757 EFIS altitude readout

Reinstalled everything few weeks ago and just tried first flight with the PSS 757. Very strange behaviour with the EFIS altitude readout which loads in on initialization of the aircraft but after a few seconds blanks out completely. The heading indicators at the bottom also dissapear. Rest of gauge is there. Tried entering flight plan but it doesnt complete properly as cant read the ground level altitude which isnt there.Have checked the 777 and dont have the same problemCan anyone help?thnx John

Hi John,I assume you are losing the rad alt read out and horizontal deviation indicator on the PFD? The latter only shows when a VOR/ILS within range is tuned in. Also when you first load the 757, what VOR Freq is showing on the main panel?Not sure what the problem is with loading a route - do you mean you cannot input the Transition Altitude?Firstly, worth a try to look at the Airline Options in the set up panel? Secondly, whether you have PSS or JF versions (they are both the same) try a full uninstall/reinstall.Good LuckJohn R
