July 14, 201015 yr Hello,I am sure this question has been asked b4, but I am new to FS. I have FS9 loaded on my Winxp computer, and I want to remove my instruments panel from this computer and send it to another networked winxp computer, and leave the first one to run the scenery only. I have fsuipc loaded on my fs9. what should i do next?

One your main computer you can display only the view through the windshield and on the other just the instruments panel(s)As far as I know, there are some (unsolvable) issues with this method: AI aircraft and clouds won't be synchronized.Another way is to get custom panel(s), like Project Magenta and that will run on networked PCs.Regards,Jure

July 14, 201015 yr I have a 2 head video card and 2 monitors on 1 pc already. I want to put the scenery on the other computer and run a projector Is there any better way to do this? Is widefs the same or similar to wideview? Can I use widefs instead of wideview? Any specific reason for using two computers? If for purposes of multiple monitors, one PC can do a pretty good job.Alex Reid

As far as I know, the computer sees no particular difference between a monitor or a projector. Be aware of the space needed for a projector and its screen. Also check the expected life (and cost) of replacement projector bulbs.Alex Reid
