Unfortunately when this aircraft was first announced in 2003 they bit off a little more than they could chew. At least the problems that have popped up recently have been taken care of fairly well. I guess that is the problem with dealing with 100's of suppliers on a new project. Chris Miller

I guess that is the problem with dealing with 100's of suppliers on a new project.Given the huge leap in technology , I'm inclined to cut some leeway for Boeing. Even Wilbur and Orville took a few years to rationalize their technical leap- while many naysayers poopooed their ideas.Did you see the pics a while back on flex testing the 87 wing? Reminded me of the early control method via "wing warping"!Alex Reid
