FS cannot display multiple POSKY 757 textures

Featured Replies

Hello all. Whenever I add more than one repaint to my POSKY 757, FS2004 will display the first one, but all subsequent repaints, the preview box becomes black and it won't display it. Anyone else had this problem or any advice to solve it?Thanks,Joe

Try looking at the line sim= on the aircraft.cfg file. If the models are different then FS won't think that this is a vaild texture as a part of the texture is missing, and that the texture parts are different. As an example, you have recently installed a repaint for a non-wingletted POSKY 757, yet the aircraft that contains the texture is OS752WL.zip, the basepack to all wingletted POSKY 757 aircraft. A few of the textures required for the basepack are missing, so the texture is considered invalid, and as a result, will fail to load.

Also, make sure you look EVERYWHERE it possibly could be when you select the aircraft manufacturer type. For instance, some painters will use 'POSKY' as the manufacturer, another will use 'Boeing', and yet another will name "Project Opensky". All these differences will list the plane in different order in your A/C and/or Type list.
