No SIDs

Recommended Posts

This problem began when I attempted to add the SSOXS1 SID out of Boston myself. Ever since that I got these "Program Errors" whenever I try to use a Standard Instrument Departure (for any airport). I can use a STAR just fine however. So I troubleshooted by deleting the old BOS file and replacing it with the backup. Didnt work. So I went to planepath and replaced my library with the 1007 cycle SID/STARS. Still got the error. Then I replaced my NavData library with the backup file, and that didnt help either. I am now at a complete loss for what to do.

Try the KBOS sidstar I include in the US Collection (see avsim library file cycle_1007_sidstars.zip). I provide routing from the runway to the departure route/transitions.Post a copy of your attempt to modify the kbox.txt file here inside code tags and maybe your error will jump out for me.

I forgot before deleting the BOS file I reverted all the changes by hand, so I dont have a copy of my cahanges, even in the recycle bin. EDIT:But what I did was add the KYLES and SSOXS waypoint to the fix list at the top, then created the SID using the same phraseology as the other procedures. (As a side note, I misspelled "SOXSS" and I got another error that the FMC could not find SOXSS. So I fixed that and it just came up with "Program Error") I did nothing else. Thanks for posting something that has the SSOXS1 in it, but right now I just want to be able to use my SIDs. Do you think it would help if I redid my Navigraph cycle in additon to planepath?

Anyone...I also just had to redo my FSX.XML, do I have to add PMDG to that? (Doubt it) EDIT: I'm slow. :( I was finally able to put two and two together and realize that SIDs will only load when a destination airport has been set. Maybe now SSOXS1 will work, as soon as I can convert the coordinates to PMDG. :(

That is right, it can't load the procedures file until you tell it which one to load.
