July 22, 201015 yr saw this just now on PC world.com and thought i would see what everyone else thinks about the future of this. i know that Microsoft was advertising for someone to work with Windows live and the flight sim relm some time back but this could be a nail in the coffin of that.http://www.pcworld.com/article/201657/did_....html?tk=hp_blg
July 22, 201015 yr No worries, there's nothing to see here. From the article... Microsoft at one point had plans to bridge Xbox and Windows gaming, but eventually killed them, because in cross-platform matches, console gamers couldn't hack it.The article only discusses their decision to terminate any cross-platform multiplayer game integration. Not the "Live" platform on the PC side, and certainly no mention of MSFS or any successors.Microsoft currently runs two versions of LIVE, one for Windows, another for the Xbox 360.Not to worry, the "Live" gaming world is still alive and well on the PC side. -Greg
