If you are hoping for further development of the C17 I would hold off purchasing until it really is a finished product. There have been some hints that Alphasim as a company is having difficulty. A number of projects they were working on before they closed down their forums and cut off information, have not eventuated. (The Jaguar being one of them)I'd hate to buy into a product that isn't yet fully developed and then have the company go out of business without finishing it or being around to provide support. (Not that Alphasim actually provide support right now - the links on their site do not work and it is impossible to contact them)... I hate to sound so negative but you have asked a fair question and felt I should give you my honest opinion.

Please buy as many copies of this brilliant aircraft as you can afford.This way, they will be able to continue funding development of a VC as promised when they originally took my money :(
