July 28, 201015 yr I shall give it a try when I get home. I am in Singapore for business at the moment but will be back before Monday. I am pretty sure that the latency makes a difference. Have a look at any topic about building i7 9xx computers and see that everyone recommends low latency ram of C7 or less. I know people on this forum who have done tests and seen that low latency ram makes a difference. I'll try and find the post that has been said before.Back to topic: regarding your PSU, no 520W will not be enough. Iwould go for a 750W minimum psu. Have a look at the corsair TX750 or HX750 or above. Also look at antec and coolermaster 750W+ psus too.

It has three 19A rails and the video card should have two 6-pin connectors, which should meet the 24A video card requirement. Art

July 28, 201015 yr Hi,I used to have 5 Hard disk, and I doubt if that's enough for the new system (my current one is just a E6300 With 8600GT)ACtually, is there a way to check if my current system is exceeding what the PSU can provide? or if I can run 3D Mark for 30 minutes without hanging, restart, can I assure that my PSU is fine?
