July 29, 201015 yr Hey forum,I'm flying my MD-11 with real-time weather updates (29.56 InHg but otherwise normal sky conditions) and the speed tape/ND compass is jumping all over the place. It skips around one to two degrees and keeps alternating between the two at about 10Hz (same with the speed tape). Also, the autopilot is instructing the plane to make brief turns from side to side, even though the route is dead ahead. I'm guessing this is an issue with the weather setting, but I have never seen anything like this before. Should I stay away from real-time weather updates?Regards Louis Vallance | P3D v4.5 (no shaders) | i9-9900K | 32GB | RTX 2080
July 30, 201015 yr No, you don't have to stay away from real-time weather. It's a know issue from FSX itself. Just purchase FSUIPC and correct the windsettings. A lot about it is noted on Peter's forum and (I'm not sure) in the FSUIPC pdf file. Peter Belgium Flightsimulator is not a simulation, it's a way of life ...
