  1. Yes it is, Bryan. As I said, if your answer is "yes" I'll purchase the SC and I just did. Thanks for your support !
  2. Hi Graham and Bryan, Yikes .... did I fully misunderstand what was included in the Aerosoft Airbus ? I'm so sorry !! I thought it was FS2crew but only for the Airbus. Thanks so much for your information ! FYI Bryan, maybe you can add this information on your website so that it's not confusing for other pilots ? Nearly everyday I speak English as it isn't my native language but this way you see only one word can be misinterpret and there's a situation like this, hehe . Bryan, in the meantime I created a new account on your website to purchase FS2crew for the Airbus but otherwise I saw the Special Collection and its description. Are both working with the current Airbus series and the NGX ? If your answer is yes, I'll purchase it immediately. Thanks for your reply and have a nice Sunday.
  3. Hi Bryan, I've been searching nearly every day this past week to resolve my issue with the Aerosoft A320 Extended but no luck. Today I uninstalled all about the Airbus including FS2crew (locked version) and purchased both the A318-319 and the A320-321. I installed both and still having the same trouble. First my configuration : - W7 Ultimate and voice is working perfectly (afterwards disabled so that it can not startup when booting) - FSX (SP2 installed) no FSX SE - latest FSUIPC - UAC disabled and no antivirus installed (it's a PC only for FS) - installed and started all software with admin rights - modified the panel.cfg as noted on the forum - after uninstalling the Extended version, registry cleaning with ccleaner and reboot - ran the Flight1 registry tool, multiple times before and after installing the new versions - updated to the latest FS2crew locked version (message when starting FSX) - created a hard key in FSX When I start the Airbus Configurator and when I select FS2crew Voice Control (same issue with button control), I always get the error message as in show in the screenshot (see below). After searching for about 10 hours today, I'm total loss where to search, what to do, etc. Can you help me how to get FS2crew running with the Bus ? Many thanks in advance for your support, Peter
  4. Thanks for the tip, Chris. Best solution ever found ! Great job done.
  5. On the REX forum, go to the verification forum and add your REX order number and vendor. Once verified you can post in the support forum. Hope this helps,.
  6. Paul, as you are (or were ?) a REX (+ OD) user, why don't you try it yourself on your own system how REX-E is doing ? You don't even have to pay for it. If you purchased REX at the FSS, you have the full installer for FREE. If you didn't, you can have the upgrade to REX-E also for FREE. Only you can do the (many) tests with all its features and see if you like it or not. Don't let someone else tell you if it's good or not.
  7. Hi Wout, Before the PMDG MD-11 was released, I would build a full home cockpit of this bird. I already had (and still have) a lot of information but because of a few factors (which I actually may not tell the public), I couldn't do it. If you really want to make your own trottle quadrant, go to the Brussels Airmuseum (see http://www.airmuseum.be/en/index.php). There's a huge archive where they have the full manual of the Sabena DC-10. The people are very friendly and willing to help you. I know because I've been there too. You have my full congrats to make the TQ and I don't want to disappoint at all but I really doubt if it will work because there is no SDK from PMDG for the MD and it'll never be. Wish you a lot of succes with your project, .
  8. 35 years playing drums, great Rich. Looks like this will be the topic for the flying musicians,, nice done, Alex.
  9. Welcome back, Randy. Glad to hear that you, Goran and Jim did win the fight with cancer. My congrats to all of you. I don't have to tell you more about the NGX, you know it already from the other pilots. I can only tell you that the MD-11 is a masterpiece too. It's still my favourite bird. Best regards, .
  10. Hi Alex, As a guitarplayer for more than 30 years (and also being a Hammond player), I have quite some experiences with the Yamaha NS-10 studio monitor speakers. They have a very neutral sound and "not coloured". I know they are quite aged but it's still a reference in studio. I don't know if you can still purchase them as new but otherwise you'll always find them on ebay. Wish you a lot of luck to find the right sound, ;).
  11. Thank you for your fast reply on my request, Ryan. I just read the pushback procedure in the tutorial. I'll do a test very soon to see how it all goes. Otherwise I still don't get it how the team could develop such nice pushback for the B-747 and the MD-11. Why isn't it possible for the NGX ? All three aircrafts are developed for FSX. Please don't take my question the wrong way. You don't have to explain the program details. It's just my curiosity when I compare your three great birds. If you like, you may always send me a PM. I'll be glad to read it.Many thanks in advance and have a great Sunday.
  12. Hi PMDG,Thanks for the SP1C, installed without issues. I'm sorry to tell you but I still have a problem since release of the NGX. At August 8th 2011 I posted a thread about the big angle when pushback, please see this topic. I hope it's not FSX related because with other aircrafts (specifically the MD-11, my fav bird) I don't have this issue at all. Can this be resolved ?Thank you.
  13. Charles, please trust me and take it from me. As Ron said, they will not do a SDK for the MD. I may not go into details as I promised Robert personally. So sorry ....
  14. I already have this issue since release of the NGX. See my first post here, posted 08 August 2011 - 09:56 AM
  15. Hi Robert, I'm sorry but I'm not agree with you about IVAP for FSX, it doesn't need FSUIPC. Only IVAP for FS2004 does it but this is not a part for the NGX.I'll get in touch with Kenny Moens and Filip who are the main developers of IVAP. Maybe one of them already contacted you. Best regards.
  16. Thanks for your reply, Axel. You might reactivate that old post, it can never hurt for other users who never read older posts. Actually I always fly online on the IVAO network. In their client software (IvAp) there is a p/b function and the user can set the angle to (I think but no sure) 150°, could be even more. As I am flying the MD-11 most of my flights, I never had this issue even using the IvAp p/b function. So I suppose it has something to do with NGX itself. Best regards, PS : sent you a PM.
  17. Hello Axel, Yes it's very weird. I already did a post of this issue a month ago, see http://forum.avsim.net/topic/343008-turning-during-pushback/page__hl__pushback__fromsearch__1 I hope this will be resolved with the coming SP.
  18. Thanks for your reply, James. I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this one.
  19. Hi and thanks for reply. Yes I do, I also tried with the pushback function of IvAp (IVAO network client). Both have same results.
  20. Hi all, When turning to line up to the taxi-line during the pushback the aircraft makes a very wide bend. The aircraft has nearly to start turning right from the p/b to be centered. Am I doing something wrong ? Is it possible to modify ? Thanks for reply.
  21. I have it too, Remco. It's between the ngx and ivap. By releasing the MD-11 there was the same issue and resolved by the MD SP. I hope this can also be done with NGX.
  22. Just finished my first flight KBFI - CYYZ. Generally the flight was very good except some small issues during VNAV descent and final approach. All other things were great and very good fps for my old system. Still have to learn a lot of the new procedures in comparison with the previous NG. It's a wonderful bird and I'm a happy guy, .
  23. Steve, don't be sad. I've only a low-end system Intel Core2 E-6420 o/c to 2.7 GHz., Nvidia 8800GT/512, 8 GB ram and W7-64.The NGX has as good fps as my MD-11. On ground it can be around 10fps but once airborn, I have arond 30fps.Because of a couple hospital issues, purchasing a new system has delayed to Xmas time. This will be a 2600K, 8GB, 570GTX/1GB or more. Hope this helps, .
  24. After the install of the NGX, start FSX and when you are in the cockpit, close FSX and restart. When I started FSX I could not switch to the different views. After my FSX restart all is OK. Hope this helps.
