I am semi-new to avsim and i am having a problem with my TrackIR 5, it was working fine until i installed UTX USA and UTX Europe. Here is where the problem gets funny, if I fly a tutorial or a mission then it works fine, but if I try to go into FREE FLIGHT them it stops working. I have to say that I don't know a-lot about the system because it just arrived today :( . I am running WIN7 on a studio XPS 8100, 2.8 G Processor, 8GB RAMFSX DeluxeSaitek Flight Yoke, Throttle Quad, Multi-panel, flight switch panel, and rudder.Any help you can give will be great.Aregorn1

Hi,I've had TIR4 for a long time, and use the TIR5 software. I've had a lot of trouble with TIR simply freezing my view at random times.I have an E8600 dual-core, and now use a free program called Prifinnity to set the affinity of TIR5 to Core1, and priority to above normal. I haven't had a problem since.Regards, Jim

I'm not sure what the problem was, but i just deleted all of my saved flights and just started from a new default flight and it started working again. :( hey its working, why complain.

Glad you've got it working.I always change to the default Cessna before saving a flight, and change aircraft when I load it again. Has saved me a lot of grief!Jim

I made this comment on another comment on this forum. I followed the setup, everything seemed to work. However I cannot get more than just the slightest head movement on screen. I tried support but no answer, maybe they are away for the week? I went on their forum and received one reply “I am having the same problem”. I have tried a lot of solutions, nothing seems to help.
