July 31, 201015 yr Hey all, there was a topic about this file in the PMDG 747 forum that I replied to and nobody answered so I figured I'd try my luck here.About 4 nm out from EGLL the other day FSX crashed on me and TCAS2v7.dll was the culprit. I checked the version of the file and it's the most current one (as per the knowledge base on PMDG's website).Has anyone else seen this and do they have a solution? Thanks in advance,Jeff Calder Jeff Calder

However, it "talks" to the FSUIPC.dll so you need to make sure the latest version of FSUIPC is installed as well as having the entry in the dll.xml. If this doesn't fix the problem, I would click on the PMDG747 software program and select "repair" and see if that fixed the problem. That's about all I can think of to fix this issue. I would be interested in knowing if you just bought the 747 program or whether you have been flying it successfully for several weeks or months without a crash. I have had the PMDG 747 since the day it was released and have not had this CTD. If you just bought it, I would turn off your User Account Controls (UAC) before doing the repair. Best regards,Jim
August 1, 201015 yr Author I googled it too and couldn't find a solution, thanks for looking though!I've been flying the 747-400 since January 2010 (when I finally decided to switch from FS9 to FSX) and for months before that with FS9. I had never had a problem.I'm using the most recent version of FSUIPC and it's registered. I haven't tried the repair option yet but I do have UAC disabled since it annoys me. Basically I installed windows 7, booted it up the first time, disabled UAC and continued on with life. I hate nanny programs, I've been a computer tech for about 14 years, I don't need Microsoft telling me what to do. :)I flew from KORD to CYWG today with the 747-8F and things worked fine, so I guess maybe it was a "freak" thing. Hopefully it's not going to be an ongoing problem. Thanks again,Jeff Calder Jeff Calder
