August 1, 201015 yr Hi all.I just installed X Gauge with ASE and it seems to work ok in the standard aircraft that came with FSX. However, in my addon aircraft (PDMG 747, 737 (FS9here) and Level D767FSX) the panel view has an X in the box checked, but nothing comes up. I see several other posts on this, but can't understand exactly what to change to fix this and to get it to show up. Can someone post a simple 1, 2, 3, of what I should do to get this to work as I am fearful of screwing something up. I have both FSX and FS9 installed on the computer and on two different drives. Also, I am in Windows 7.Thanks in advanceBob LeBoeuf
August 2, 201015 yr Hi,Please post the panel.cfg files for those planes where X Gauge doesn't show up and I'll take a look.
August 7, 201015 yr Commercial Member With the Level-D I undock the XGauge window for it to stay on top of the panel. I also added an Icon to toggle it on and off. You probably need to do the same with the PMDG. I don't have that one "Yet". Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
August 7, 201015 yr Author Hi,Please post the panel.cfg files for those planes where X Gauge doesn't show up and I'll take a look.I am not sure if this is what you are looking for. I can't seem to find a panel.cfg file for either the PMDG or for the Level D. If this isn't it. Can you tell me where to look?ThanksBobDisplay]FPS_LIMIT=12FPS_VIEW=0WeightInKGs=0FPS_VC_LIMIT=9[PFD]VLE=270.0FlapPositions=7 // 0, 1, 5, 10, 20, 25, 30// Default ValuesVMaxFlaps=365.0, 280.0, 260.0, 240.0, 230.0, 205.0, 180.0Mmo=921// FDStyles are: Cross=0, Pegasus=1FDStyle=0ADISkyColor=14454016ADIGroundColor=1331082TapesColor=6710886ShowRisingRwy=1ShowGS=1ShowAoA=1625525ShowVORinLocalizerScale=1507880747400_PFDType=1ShowRoundRadioAlt=0[ND]ClipMap=1ArptRwyLimit=6000TCAS_NumMaxAcft=100TCAS_ShowOtherTFC=0TCAS_ShowRangeRings=0[EICAS]MAX_N1=117.0MAX_N2=115.0MAX_N3=117.0CAUTION_EGT=925MAX_EGT=950MAX_FF=13200MIN_OILP=10.0CAUTION_OILP=20.0CAUTION_OILT=160.0MAX_OILT=175.0MIN_HYDP=40.0MAX_HYDP=3500.0CAUTION_MIN_HYDP=120.0CAUTION_MAX_HYDP=3250.0MIN_TANKPOUNDS=2000.0[MCP]FgColor=13740641BgColor=996352[RunIntervals]CDURunInterval=500MCPRunInterval=500AFSRunInterval=500FMSRunInterval=500[soundProcessor]PlayGPWS=1PlayVSpeed=1PlayCaution=1PlayElectrics=1SoundVolume=-1267PlayInExternalViews=1PlayGPWS_AppMins=1[EFISDisplay]DisplayType=0[FuelFlow]APUConsumeFuel=0[sAVEDPREFLIGHT]IRSPos=N37º55.4 E023º56.6DepAirport=----ArrAirport=----DepRunway=-----Wpt1=-----CruizeAlt=-1000000Reserves=-1000000.0CostIndex=-1000000TOFlaps=-1000000[Messages]DisableTailhook=1[FMC]LastPos=N39º29.1 W119º46.2TOGAHdgSel=0VNAVALT=1TDPause=0[TCAS]Source=1[PS]OverheadUndockable=0[CDU]FgColor=2082055DimColor=1143811[iRS]AlignTime=600GNSEquipped=1[CRT]747400_DisplayType=0SlantDigits=0[Ground]GroundPlugsAvailable=0[ASDC]OverrideThrottles=0OverrideSurfaces=0GSCaptureBeforeLOC=0CtrlOrTrimAPDiscoMessage=1[FuelLoad]DesiredFuelLoad=143176[PACKS]ControllerMode=1[VC]Display=1[WingTips]Display=1[LoadManager]AircraftConfig=2With the Level-D I undock the XGauge window for it to stay on top of the panel. August 8, 201015 yr Hi,That is not it. In the folder of the plane there is a folder called Panel. In that folder is a file called panel.cfg.You might need to have Show hidden and system files turned on in Windows.
August 8, 201015 yr Author Thanks.. I will look for it. I was able to find it yesterday in the Virtual Cockpit of the Level D. Let me see if it comes up in Virtual of PMDG.ThanksBob
