Is the option changing values? If so, might be the operating system preventing 'writes' to the ini or cfg file. Some have a problem and most have no problem and it's kinda wierd how that can happen.

XP doesn't have the horrible security stuff that Vista/W7 does so that's not the problem.The question reworded was, if you check the pause box, does it stay checked??The plane should pause a certain distance or time before TOD, rather than right at it. Make sure you are not using time acceleration.

Nope, just make sure there's no discontinuities in the flight path forward. I assume you have the TOD circle appearing on the ND but she if flying straight through.
