Banding and Bleached Graphics

Featured Replies

Hello Folks:I have a problem with my FS9; when I fly at night or anywhere dark this problem is most noticablae..There are lots of banding (rainbow like bands) on the graphics. And colors seem to "bleed" especially on the airplane, sky, and clouds-- mostly seen at dawn, dusk, and night....Anyone knows what causes this and how to fix it?..Thanks.Johnny

rename your FSX.cfg and let FSX rebuild it

Ok but check you system configuration it able to play this game or not and if you system is able the update you graphics driver and install your operating system compatible driver.

I had the same problem with FS9. After exiting the game I deleted everything in the cfg file and the sim rebuilt it on startup, cleared everything up!

Sorry guys, but before I continue, can someone tell how to get to the "cfg file"? Is it a folder? Please tell step by step to get there and what exactly to delete-- will greatly appreciate it.Johhny
