bglman.dll error after fsdt KDFW install fail and removal

Featured Replies

Tried to install Fsdreamteam's new KDFW, but had a CTD. During install, it found the old freebie version of Zurich (offered years ago) and said to go to the website and download a new one. Dire warning that FS would stop if in area. Anyway, removed the old LSZH completely, since it had now disappeared. The CTD also screwed my FS cfg and after straightening that out, another install attempt opened to KDFW, but with a froze system. So, a complete uninstall, and again reinstalled settings wiped out in the FS cfg. Another FS check now reveals an error about some bglman.dll error and aircraft won't load. Never saw that before....but I will try to fix it. Anyone know whether or not this error related to a dll added during the KDFW install or is it just a coincidence that the error just happen to turn up now? Any how to fix tips appreciated.

There's no "old freebie version of Zurich". The FSDT installers ONLY check and advise for old version of FSDT sceneries! It never, ever, makes any check on freeware sceneries. If you seen that message, it wasn't related to the "freebie version of Zurich", since the installer doesn't check for (example) FreeZ or anything like that, but it was related to an old version of FSDT Zurich being present on your system, and our Zurich never was freeware.

The message said you had to go the the FSDT website to download the current LSZH to update it, not to remove it. Updating it, would have fixed the problem.

Are you sure you used the bglman.dll that comes with KDFW, and haven't replaced it with something else ?So, the one and only way to clean everyting is:- Remove the bglman.dll file from your MODULES folder.- Reinstall KDFW- Check everything working, and leave everything there, without touching anything. Besides, we have an official support forum, what's the point asking here for help, since you can surely get it faster from our forum ?

re: - Remove the bglman.dll file from your MODULES folder.OK, thanks, bglman.dll was from fsdt. That's what I needed to know, removed it, and that cleared up the last issue.
