Since the new forum I've been having to continually log in.I'm browsing with IE8 on Windows XP, and have added Avsim and the forums to my trusted sites. Cookies are allowed on my machine, and yet each time I return to the forum I am not recognized and have to login once again.Any other suggestions??Thanks--WH

Try deleting any cookie you have associated with avsim.com or avsim.net. This normally solves that problem

Also, clear out your cache. Between cookies and old pages in cache, they make up 80% of the issues we see with users having problems logging on.

Ahh..... Redoing the cookies worked for me.I use a couple utilities to save specific cookies from being deleted when I clean my harddrive. I removed the older ones I saved from the Avsim forum, recreated them under the new forum, and saved the new ones.Thanks--WH

No - it's all too difficult. New passwords, still can't access the downloads. Thank God there are other fora and download sites........goodbye AVSIM. You WERE the best but this is a site about flight sims, not an exercise in flashy over complicated boards
