August 11, 201015 yr I am getting a error with Ttools Companion "Error in modEvalFP:FP type mismatch" What can I do to fix this? I am using Windows 7 and FS9. It was working fine then the error popped up when I tried to evaluate a flightplan I was fixing up.I tried to evaluate other flightplans but I get the same error. I even tried to re install TTools Companion but no luck.
August 12, 201015 yr This sounds somewhat familiar, for a while I used TTools Companion 2.1. But just the update, not the entire program.:( With just that .exe I would get the same error. Except when I evaluated just a flightplan file and left the aircraft file field blank. Then I discovered my error and got the base install 2.0. Updated to 2.1 and haven't had the error since. Now, that's one possible take on this. Another would be the removal of a program that also removed "shared components". Uninstalling PFE for example, will remove shared components without asking, messing with programs such as ActiveSky and... TTools Companion. Perhaps you uninstalled something recently? Solution would be to reinstall TTC.:( Mike...
August 12, 201015 yr Author When I first installed TTools Companion I did use 2.0 then updated to 2.1. When I re installed it I made sure I used 2.0 first then 2.1. The only thing I can remember I un installed recently was ADE (I did install it back). But I un installed that a few weeks ago and I just stated getting the error yesterday. If I can't get TTools Companion working again is there a similar program that does the same thing as TTools Companion that I can use?
August 12, 201015 yr I have no idea. You should be able to get it working though. Do you have an admin account in Windows? UAC disabled? I have it installed in the Program Files folder, no problems (permissions issues, etc...).And just out curiosity, can you attach a set of files that give you the error. I'd like to check myself. Finally, you might try uninstalling TTC first, it should be listed in the Control Panel. Then make sure the install location is gone to (unless that contains other stuff). Then reboot, install 2.0, install 2.1 update. That might trigger something. Mike...

Cause I tried about 5 or 6 of them and the error came up everytime. And I did try to uninstall TTools Companion (using the control panel). Although I never restarted the computer before I installed TTools C again.
