Any FSX DO27 Flyers and support still out there?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I know that there are still DO27 users out there but I was wondering where, if anywhere, they get their support now. Those of you who have the DO27 will know it is one of the most brilliant and frustrating of all add-on models. I so wish I had the skill to tidy up the irratating weaknesses, but I don't. I love it despite the frame rate hit, the occasional graphics distortion and so on, but you just think that if Marcel could get involved again or sell the code to someone else who could run with it (A2A ACCU SIM would be good) you would quite possibly have the best GA model on the market. I'm working on a completely new native FSX version. It will be the first new HiFi Series plane after quite a few years, but this time FREEWARE.You can expect a better detailed external model with a (finally) 100% correct shape,a MUCH better flight modeland a very high frame rate.As I'm not a gauge guru it will not have any of the fancy accu sim like stuff, but at least it will finally look, fly and sound like a 100% copy of a real Do27 :( Something the real Do27 definitely deserves! Best regardsBernt

Hi Bernt,What were the HiFi series? How do I get them?
That was a looong time ago back in the old compuserve days for fs95 (except the MD-80 which was available for x-plane as well)Furthermore only tubeliners (except for the B-52 and the KC-10). Best regardsBernt
