Ultimate Traffic 2 & MD-11

Featured Replies

Hi all,I have a question about an issue that might or might not have to do with the PMDG MD-11.I'm flying at FL300 (TAT -3C) and using UT2 (Ultimate Traffic 2). I just recently installed UT2 and there I fiddled with the contrail settings for AI aircraft (set to 30 seconds of length) which show up very nicely. However, now my MD-11 isn't producing any contrails anymore. Have any of you had this issue and if so, did you find any solution?Any help would be greatly appreciated! ps. Sorry if this is the completely wrong place to ask this question.

Hi Sander, Nope, this is the correct place for MD-11 questions, but this wouldn't have anything to do with the MD-11. It's probably a bug with UT2 or perhaps a system memory thing due to a Fsx.cfg setting?. I recommend setting the defaults in UT2 and seeing if it works then so you can see that it's working at all. I use UT2 and had some weird issues until my last install. Ever since I had the beta SP1 installed things got a little weird. I cleaned it up like their web site said but until I did a full reinstall with their latest downloader I had quite a list of bugs. I still have some annoyances but just things they haven't fixed yet, like ATC constantly telling the Piper cub to climb to 8,000' hehe. I'm actually going to their site as I type to see if any new updates have been released.
