  2. Hi Chris, The CPU you are currently running is a 1155 socket. Be careful there, a 1151 will not fit. You'd have to replace the MoBo as well. As Alexander mentions, try to find yourself a I7-2700K, they should be quite affordable, even second hand should be fine. I have the same CPU and it works like a charm. Be sure that if you OC it though, that you have sufficient cooling. Stock fan is probably not enough.
  3. Hi Jeganathan, I've been considering a higher res screen, and specifically a wide one like the one you ordered. I have been wondering the same, about what it would look like. When you get yours, please do post a pic here so we can see what its like. Thanks!
  4. I don't think OP was asking for a paintjob.
  5. Thanks for the clarification, Kyle. I will think on it a bit longer and then make the decision to move forward to P3D. In the meantime I'll upgrade the old PC a bit to keep me busy.
  6. Enjoy the NGX, you're gonna love it!
  7. Can you show us where this was stated? I'm planning on moving to P3D this weekend, but if this is the case I'll wait.

  9. Hi Clint, which VR hardware are you using? Just curious..
  10. Hi Jim, All the different variants will have their own setups. This includes varying engine types, -400 vs -8, etc. If there are typical differences in the systems or flight models, these will be simulated. This is what makes PMDG so amazing, their level of detail.
  11. Just wanted to come in here and ask the same question. Thanks Peter, for the clarification.
  12. The fact that an item is no longer sold doesn't void the EULA. Owners of the MD-11 own a license to use the software in FSX, that's it.
  13. Hi Andreas, First, you should sign first and last names in the forum. Its a rule (even when your user name is your actual name). You can try holding down the menu button on the FMC when powered down, it should bring up the PMDG menu. Let us know if it worked.
  14. Welcome back!
  15. 30 knot headwind is considerable, are you allowing PFPX and your aircraft calculations to take those winds into consideration?
  16. Amazing! The Queen was my first PMDG product, and it will most certainly be my next PMDG product! Looking forward to seeing the 748 preview as well. Keep up the amazing work guys, and thanks a lot for this update!
  17. Are you guys updating to Windows 10 from 8.1 or from 7? As I still run Win7 and I quite like it. Would it be worth the change to Win10?
  18. Wow! Just wow! Thanks for this :-) Made my day (night actually).
  19. Nothing wrong with your findings :-) Looks like good results. Just wanted to mention this as your topic title can be a bit misleading.
  20. FSX doesn't use the benefits of dual GPU's.
  21. Agreed with Richard, this doens't seem very appropriate here.
  22. Yes, all the time. In fact, mostly. Just flew into EKCH and had 2 fixes, no problems at all.
  23. Never noticed this issue personally, and I use fixes, more than one, all the time.
  24. Love flying Kai Tak, its really wonderful when you hand fly the approach from the Cheung Chau VOR and nail the landing in a heavy 744! Feels so great!
