Interesting.,,

Could you give us more specifics? As soon as you put in the range rings in the fmc does the overall sim lose that performance, or is it just when looking at the navigation display?

Cant  remember but this has been mention before, long time  ago think if you put in more  than 1 entry point in the fix page of the fmc the fps  lowers , but if  you only have 1  entry  it  should be  ok.  In the post ryan has mentioned   it  so they know  about  this issue

There is a solution - don't use fixes...

Matthew Bellette

You can but only use 1 fix entry in the  fmc page

Never noticed this issue personally, and I use fixes, more than one, all the time.

do you fly around payware sceneries?

Daniel choen

I fly around payware like Orbx, UK2000, Fly Tampa etc all the time, normally with 3 fixes active for approaches. Never noticed it to affect my frame rate. Will double check next time though - maybe its only on some systems?
