Here is a formula for you to use: 1.To calculate when to start your descent = 3x Altitude required to lose then remove the zeros 2.To calculate the rate at which you need to descend = 1/2 Groundspeed + 0 Example: Crossing restriction - Cross the LON VOR at 10,000ft You are cruising at FL350 and your groundspeed is 400knots. 1. You need to lose 25,000ft (difference between FL350 and 10,000ft) x 3 = 75,000 remove the zeros = 75 So that means start the descent 75nm from the LON VOR 2. 400knots Groundspeed divided by 2 = 200 then you add one 0 = 2000. So that means your descent rate should be 2000FPM Hope that helps

Ah ok - I was confused by the Buy Now download, but its downloading now. I couldnt seem to install it with Flight1 but that was because the file I have isnt the wrapper but the .exe installation by the looks of it. Downloading now from the Milviz site. Many thanks for your help!

Flight1 but it does not seem to be in their store anymore - I backed up the installer from when I brought it around a year ago.

Hi guys, Trying to install the F15E again after a computer rebuild. Once I run the installer I am not asked for any license key, it just installs fine. Once in FSX when I select the F15E I get an error 1001 invalid license. Not sure where I can type in the key? The plane loads in FSX but cant start any of the engines etc. So how can I register the F15E again? Many thanks, Elliot

Dx10 can reduce VAS by around 200-300MB - its more efficient

Yeh thought it might be! Would rather click all the lights then lose middle button head turning
-
Doesnt work with my Razor mouse either - I think it might be because my middle mouse button is bound to Ezdok for view panning? Doesnt really bother me, happy to click them all on and off individually

What do we need to access the 3 D effect on the Flight Deck?
RiceySpicey replied to cliffardus's topic in PMDG 777
You can use the default fsx views and view movement tools in the 3d cockpit - its just not as easy or as smooth as with Ezdok - you can look up the FSX view controls online or in the keys section on your fsx setup screen -
Final Previews - uploading to Avsim now

Sparse Grid is particularly taxing on the system but gives great clarity - try changing it just to 2x supersampling if your getting lower frames. It wont look as good visually though, but normally worth the sacrifice.
-
Thats ridiculously high and is tasking your cpu way more than necessary (yes even though these a re GPU settings it will effect the CPU as FSX is a pile of crap when dealing with GPUs) try this instead - 8xSQ and 2xSGSS

Its a great route isnt it?! A brighter light
