If I want the aircraft to start up in a completely cold and dark state by default, how do I go about doing that? I mean, the fmc is offline, so I cannot save the panel state after I have placed the 777 in the state I want it. If I use the cold and dark state that comes along with the product, the default trans alt is overridden, so I would like to shut her down and secure her myself with the default values I prefer before saving the cold and dark panel state.

First, you should sign first and last names in the forum. Its a rule (even when your user name is your actual name).

 

You can try holding down the menu button on the FMC when powered down, it should bring up the PMDG menu.
