August 17, 201015 yr I want to use a beamer or projector with my home cockpit. Now I have got an older Acer beamer with a native resolution of 800x600. With 3D Objects and AI planes I get terrible anti-aliasing problems. Even with Nhancer running anti-aliasing on the highest level there are ugliest steps with 3D objects. Is there a way to avoid these "jaggies" or do I have to live with them. Flying is not to bad without any objects present, but landing and looking at runways from afar or buildings or other aircraft is anexperience I could do without. Is there a better solution for projecting the scenery? What do you use?
August 18, 201015 yr 800 x 600 is pretty low res. Not sure you can avoid your issues at that res.I picked up 3 Optoma GT720's for my surround visuals. They are WXGA (1280x800). I kept my eye on ebay and snagged them all new for less than $600 each.Take a look at what Nat did with his setup here http://www.flightdec...er=asc&start=30 John Skibo
