full screen with window

Featured Replies

Hello,I do most of my flying while in full screen mode, I don't like seeing the window task bar below, plus my system gives me better frames rates in full screen. The problem is I also use flightsim commander and Active Sky and would like to see those programs while I'm running in full screen mode. Is there a way to bring up a window within full screen that could show other programs running on your PC? I thought I saw someone do this while bringing up PDF's of flight charts. Any ideas would be appreciated.Jim V

I don't believe this is an option. Some run Active Sky on another computer and link to FSX with simconnect (I used to do this with a laptop).

Do you have a second monitor? If so, leave FSX in windows mode, move the taskbar to the #2 monitor, and open your other programs there.
